This piece has about 300 original indigenous/native place names on it. It is the culmination of 2 years of research into original place names. It is titled "A Work In Progress" because this is no way represents the totality of existing native place names. The work of re-naming and re-claiming is being done by people and communities across Ontario and Canada.
