This was my second attempt at trying to paint 'beadwork'. I started adding leaves and being more conscious about balancing colours. This painting was given to my dear friend and mentor Yvonne McRae. Her son David McRae gifted it to the care home in Kanata where she spent her last days. Yvonne offered me much encouragement when I was starting out. She was a supporter of the arts and an Elder who provided guidance to many budding artists.
